New York City Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia has submitted her resignation letter, and is reportedly eyeing plans to replace the Mayor.  In her resignation letter obtained by the New York Post, Garcia writes, “At a time when protecting public health is of the essence, cutting basic Sanitation services is unconscionable.” This as the Mayor Bill de Blasio plans to cut 22,000 municipal jobs including hundreds of New York’s Strongest.  Get ready for the trash to pile up.
