Ten months after shutting New York City down, New York Governor Cuomo now says this:

“We simply cannot stay closed until the vaccine hits critical mass. The cost is too high. We will have nothing left to open. We must reopen the economy, but we must do it smartly and safely.” 

But what about the 8,000 restaurants that have been forced to shut down? 

Now 70 restaurants are suing Cuomo over the “Kafkaesque nightmare” of regulations, according to The Real Deal.
