Vice President Kamala Harris coming under fire after comparing the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. 2,335 Americans perished when Japanese kamikaze pilots bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. 2,996 people died when al-Qaeda terrorists struck on 9/11. According to the New York Times, there were 7 deaths connected to the Capitol Hill riot on January 6th.
Here is some of the reaction on Twitter:
Harris has the nerve to compare January 6th to Pearl Harbor. Here you go Kamala. I dare you to say this to my face. I was born and raised here. We learned about it nonstop.

As a combat veteran who served in Iraq after 9/11, I find comments comparing the January 6th riots to September 11th or the attack on Pearl Harbor distasteful, disrespectful, and disingenuous.
VP Harris should be ashamed. pic.twitter.com/T5SUZFdrFT
